Benicio del Toro isn't the guy they were looking for

They did find the original guy but got kicked out of the casino before they could say anything to him. del Toro turned out to also be able to get them onto the ship, and it wasn't like they had any other options. He didn't have any intention of selling them out until they were caught, then he was just looking out for himself. Really that whole segment of the film was one of the weakest parts, gives them a reason to cut a check to del Toro and let the side characters soak up screen time.
